Our Story
We began back in 1994 when an innovative young insurance producer noticed that the rates he was able to secure on behalf of his big trucking clients made it hard for the smaller trucking companies and independent owner operators to compete. Rusty worked tirelessly to find a solution and pioneered a program to efficiently handle the needs of owner operators. That program is now known as Mid South Truckers Group, Inc.
We have always taken a long-term view of the business relationships that we’ve established, realizing that frequent changes serve neither our independent contractor clients nor MSTG’s best interest. The current economic climate for Independent Contractors has been as difficult as I can remember.
